Justin Greene:
A Leader for Santa Fe’s Future

Justin Greene is a small business owner, County Commissioner, architect, and dedicated community advocate who has spent over 30+ years shaping Santa Fe’s neighborhoods and economy. From revitalizing the Railyard and co-founding Warehouse 21 to co-authoring the planning documents for the Community Convention Center and supporting the Farmers Market, Justin has a proven record of delivering projects that meet community needs and create opportunities for all.

As a County Commissioner, Justin champions affordable housing, economic development, broadband access, youth education, and tribal equity. Known for his practical, solutions-driven approach, he works across diverse communities to build consensus and move Santa Fe forward.

Rooted in Service and Community:

Justin’s commitment to public service began early. He attended a service-based high school where community leadership and arts integration shaped his values. After earning a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University, focusing on urban design and public spaces, Justin moved to Santa Fe in his early 20s. Here, he helped lead the redevelopment of the historic Railyard, collaborating with local stakeholders through the American Institute of Architects’ design program.

He furthered his education with an MBA from the University of New Mexico, expanding his expertise in business and management. Justin combines this knowledge with deep community ties and over two decades of experience as a small business owner

A Vision to Build a Better Santa Fe

Santa Fe is at a crossroads. Our streets are crumbling, parks are neglected, and homelessness is growing. For decades, the affordable housing crisis has worsened and many don’t feel safe or heard. Justin Greene believes it’s time to move beyond the same-old politics and build a city that works for everyone.

With over 30 years of experience shaping Santa Fe from revitalizing the Railyard to leading as County Commissioner, Justin has a proven record of delivering results. His plan focuses on:

  • Fixing Infrastructure by repairing roads, parks, and essential facilities like our wastewater treatment plant.

  • Housing for All by expanding affordable housing options for teachers, first responders, and essential workers through smart, bold programs.

  • Ending Homelessness by implementing the proven One Door Campus model that offers coordinated, compassionate services 24/7.

  • A Safe Santa Fe by supporting smarter policing, mental health services, and building trust between law enforcement and neighborhoods.

  • Sustainable Growth by protecting our air, water, and land with innovative, lasting solutions.

  • Economic Opportunity by creating good jobs, supporting local businesses, and ensuring families have access to childcare and afterschool programs.

  • A Responsive City Hall by building a transparent, accountable government that listens, communicates clearly, and serves every neighborhood. Justin will invest in technology to help our overburdened city staff and break the logjams in areas like permitting and procurement.

Justin is ready to bring fresh energy, bold ideas, and real action to Santa Fe’s City Hall, leading us toward a stronger, safer, and more inclusive future. In a competitive race with seven candidates, one thing is clear: Justin has the experience, the relationships, the energy, and ideas to lead Santa Fe into the future.
