Justin Greene: In the Name Of Service
On October 6, 2025, Creative Santa Fe brought together Santa Fe’s mayoral candidates for a one-of-a-kind evening of storytelling at PechaKucha Night Vol. 27: In the Name Of.
Rather than campaign speeches or policy debates, the event invited each candidate to reveal the human side of public service—through personal stories that shaped their purpose and values.
Each participant responded to a simple yet powerful prompt:
“In the name of what do you serve?”
In the fast-paced PechaKucha format, Justin Greene and fellow candidates opened up about their defining experiences, inspirations, and moments of transformation. It wasn’t about platforms or promises, but about connection, an exploration of what drives people to step forward for their community.
This civic storytelling experiment, co-presented by Creative Santa Fe and The Lensic, and live-streamed with support from St. John’s College and Artisans of Nations, aimed to replace rhetoric with authenticity and to remind us of the shared humanity that underlies local leadership.
In his presentation, Designing a Table for All, Justin Greene reflects on how lessons from his mother and decades of community work, from the Santa Fe Railyard to Warehouse 21, have shaped his vision of a Santa Fe where everyone has a seat at the table.
